Dark Waters: The Last Dogs book 2

Dark Waters Dark Waters by Christopher Holt

Genre: Post-apocalypse, dystopian

Series: The Last Dogs

Age: MG

POV: 3rd person

Series: The Last Dogs (2nd book)

Summary: The journey continues. Max, Rocky, and Gizmo slowly flout down the river. Soon they come to a moored riverboat. Meeting a dog name Boss who know someone that give them answers.

Review: This is a great squeal. I like all the different zoo animals that are introduced and all the action handle nicely. About midway through the book, they discover why the humans left. Instead of waiting until the last book in the series to find out what happened. Which can be disappointing at times. With their new find knowledge, Max and co. have a few more goals other than finding their humans.

There are tons of actions and an engaging story.

Boss dying at the end repeated what happens in the first. Hopefully, it not going repeat in the next book. Madam dying was heartbreaking. I like Boss but, that should be it. It will be ruined a toughing moment.
