Spooky Scary book tag

To set the mood for the season I wanted to do something spooky. I find this tag on Starlight Book Tales. I don't know where this tag originate and I not going on a wild goose chase to find where it came from. If you do know who created this tag, please let me know in the comments.

1. What goes bump in the nigh? Name a book that has legitimately scared you while reading it.

This is my first Stephen King's book I read when I was 13. There nothing supernatural about this book. It just shocking. In every way a writer's worst nightmare.

2. Jack'O Lanterns and Classic Costumes. A book you always reach for during Halloween.

I don't have a current book I read every Halloween. I guess whatever scary book I'm interested in reading at the time.

3. Black cats and Magic Mirrors. A book that you love that is laces with superstition and/or magic.

The Witches of Worm by Zipha Keatley Snyder: I read this book a long time ago. I remember it being quit creepy.

4. Witch's Brew: Favorite witch character in any book or series.

Morgen from Dealing with Dragons.

5. Ghouls and Ghost: A book that stills haunts you to this day.

For awhile I been thinking about reread The Thirteenth Tale.

6. Haunted Graveyard: you get one book to give you comfort, which is it?

The Cat Who can read backwards. It a nice Cozy mystery.

7. The Undead: Favorite supernatural creature.

Ghost. There so must more that writers can do with ghost besides the standard haunted house.

8. In the Dead of Nigh: Pick a book with a black cover.

The Devil in the White City.

That all. If you want to do this tag by all means go right ahead.

  1. I read my first Stephen King book when I was young too, and I definitely still remember the experience! :-)
